MathsVertex ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of students, parents, and tutors who use our services.

Information We Collect

• Contact details: name, email, WhatsApp/phone number
• Student academic information: curriculum, grade level, school, current performance
• Session data: attendance, worksheet submissions, mastery scores, progress reports
• Payment information (processed securely via our payment partners — never stored by us directly)

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver personalised Year Plans, worksheets, and feedback
• To match students with curriculum-appropriate tutors
• To send progress updates via email and WhatsApp
• To improve our Grade Elevation System based on aggregate, anonymised data

Data Sharing

We never sell personal data. Information is shared only with your matched tutor (for teaching purposes) and trusted service providers (e.g. payment processors, email/WhatsApp delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements.

Terms of Service

By enrolling with MathsVertex, you agree to the following terms governing use of our tutoring services, platform, and website.

Enrollment & Sessions

• Sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times, typically 3× per week, 1 hour each
• Rescheduling requires at least 12 hours' notice
• The Year Plan adjusts automatically based on actual progress and start date

Results Guarantee

If a student follows the system consistently (attends sessions, completes worksheets) and shows no measurable improvement within 8 weeks, we will redesign the approach, offer a tutor change, or issue a full refund for that period — see our Refund Policy below.

Acceptable Use

Worksheets, year plans, and session recordings are provided for the enrolled student's personal use only and may not be redistributed or resold.

Refund Policy

8-Week Results Guarantee

If your child has attended all scheduled sessions and completed assigned worksheets for 8 consecutive weeks with no measurable improvement in mastery score or grade trajectory (as shown on the live dashboard), you are eligible for one of the following:

• A complete redesign of the learning approach at no extra cost
• A switch to a different curriculum-matched tutor
• A full refund for the remaining unused portion of your plan

Standard Cancellations

Outside of the guarantee period, refunds for early cancellation are prorated based on sessions completed, minus a 10% administrative fee. Refund requests should be sent to talk@mathsvertex.com.

GDPR Compliance

For students and parents based in the European Union or United Kingdom, MathsVertex complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your Rights

• Right to access the personal data we hold about you or your child
• Right to request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to data portability
• Right to withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
